DCI Construction provides general contracting services including but not limited to roofing, kitchen and bathroom remodeling, commercial construction, pole barn and metal building construction, and painting services. All services are subject to a written proposal and signed contract prior to commencement of work.
Submission of a contact form, request for estimate, or phone inquiry does not constitute a binding contract or guarantee of service. A formal written agreement must be executed between DCI Construction and the client before any work begins.
All estimates provided by DCI Construction are free of charge and non-binding until a formal written contract is signed by both parties. Pricing is subject to change based on project scope, material costs, site conditions, and other factors discovered during the course of the project. Any changes to the original scope of work will be documented through a written change order signed by both parties prior to the performance of additional work.
Payment terms will be outlined in your individual project contract. DCI Construction reserves the right to require a deposit prior to the start of work. Failure to make payments in accordance with the agreed contract may result in a work stoppage and potential legal action to recover outstanding balances, including reasonable attorney fees and collection costs as permitted under Oregon law.
DCI Construction operates in full compliance with Oregon Revised Statutes governing construction contractors. We maintain all required licenses, bonds, and insurance as mandated by the Oregon Construction Contractors Board (CCB). Clients are encouraged to verify our license status at any time through the Oregon CCB website at ccb.oregon.gov.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, DCI Construction shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of our website, reliance on information provided on our website, or any service-related dispute beyond the value of the contracted services. Our total liability to any client shall not exceed the total amount paid by that client for the specific services in question.
Any warranty terms applicable to workmanship or materials will be specified in your written project contract. DCI Construction stands behind the quality of our work and will address any legitimate workmanship concerns in accordance with the terms outlined in your individual contract. Manufacturer warranties on materials are subject to the terms of the respective manufacturer and are separate from any workmanship warranty provided by DCI Construction.
In the event of a dispute arising from services provided by DCI Construction, both parties agree to first attempt resolution through good faith negotiation. If a resolution cannot be reached, disputes shall be subject to mediation prior to litigation. Any legal proceedings shall be governed by the laws of the State of Oregon and conducted in the appropriate Oregon state court with jurisdiction over the matter.
